My approach to therapy is relationally focused, with a trauma- and attachment-informed lens as well as an anti-oppressive framework. I will use a combination of therapeutic styles in our work together as well as incorporating artistic tools to assist you in telling your stories and making meaning of your experiences at your own pace.

I hope to support you in feeling all of your parts and exploring how your identities have been impacted by dominant systems. I recognize that your upbringing, lived experiences, and environment (family, social circles, culture, community, society) have a profound impact on you in life-giving and painful ways. You are not alone in struggling between what you know in your head and how feel in your body. You are not alone in your troubles coping with life transitions, making sense of your life, and questioning who you are and what you believe in.

My intersecting identities include being an Asian, Vietnamese, queer, immigrant therapist. These identities inform the way I show up in and make sense of the world. They also influence how I approach therapy and how I sit with people. I have a passion for supporting folks in QTBIPOC populations, and I especially enjoy working with clients between 13 and 25 years of age.

As someone with identities in both privileged and oppressed areas, I am committed to continuously educating myself and reflecting on how these power dynamics come up in my professional and personal life, as well as how they can impact you and show up in our work together. I strive to approach these issues with an honest, open, and respectful perspective.

Throughout our time together, you can decide how you want therapy to serve you—whether it is taking a deep dive into your past and unpacking traumatic experiences or untangling the transitional, day-to-day challenges and addressing burnout. I also recognize that all of your needs can change over time, and that’s okay.

I am currently a Master of Social Work Candidate at the University of Washington, and I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Communication Studies at Texas Christian University.
